I have been playing with Pandora, a frit sold by Val Cox. It is “An intricate merging of warm and cool opaque tones is created when striking-orange tones are emphasized against a cool palette of lavender, soft rose, spring green and lilac.” Here are some experiments with this ( Read more... )

This weekend my community has put on an “art stroll” - my mom and I are on it. Artists in the neighborhood who are involved have open houses and it’s all on a route that is walkable so people can go around from artist to artist. It is today and tomorrow. So I spent the whole ( Read more... )

One of our Universities, Royal Roads, has an annual Craft Show/Paint-In every Mother’s Day. It’s a great show that has always done well for us. The only downside is, the weather is often unpredictable, and it is down by the water so it can be very windy and can be downright ( Read more... )
